Phoebe, the Lab / Brittany Hybrid at 3 years old
"This is Phoebe. Her mother is an
AKC Black Labrador Retriever. Her father is an
AKC Brittany. She has silky, wavy fur with
feathering on her ears, legs, abdomen, and tail. She is 3 years old in these
photos, a natural pointer, and was an excellent pheasant hunter by the end
of her first season. Her second season, she pointed 45+ birds the first day
and began flushing on command. She is kind of a prissy, though, as she
doesn't "charge" headlong into the brush, like my Labs do. She carefully and
quickly picks her way through. She is a quiet, lazy, lovable family lapdog
in the house and all business in the field. She loves everyone and is
excellent with other dogs and cats. She only barks if someone comes to the
door and frequently will come to you and "verbalize" with modified whines
when she wants something."

Olde Tyme Bulldog hybrid at
9 months old. "She is great with the children
and all she likes to do is eat and sleep. When we take her for walks
everyone who passes comment on how beautiful she is. It took a long time
to decide what kind of dog to get as we are very fussy around the house
and didn't want a bouncy dog. This is the perfect dog for our life
style. She does like walks but does like to stop and have a drink and
when we get back home she just flakes out for a few hours. She was
brilliant to house train and went out to do her business almost right
away. We had a little problem with her doing the odd pee on the rug so
we removed the rug and haven't had a problem since."

only time she comes alive is at our meal time. She has started to turn her
nose up at dog food in the hope we will let her have the same meals as us."
